CCTV and camera maintenance for Spanish Navy ships (Ferrol Arsenal)

The Intendant of Ferrol is tendering a framework agreement for the maintenance and repair of the electronic equipment of the CCTV system, as well as the interior and exterior cameras, of the Spanish Navy ships supported by the Ferrol Military Arsenal. The contract, with a tender base budget of 400,000 €, covers both the preventive and corrective maintenance of the closed-circuit television systems and the supply of video cameras and associated electronic components (CPV 79710000 security services and 32235000 closed-circuit surveillance systems). The scope covers the onboard video surveillance systems that ensure the safety and operational control of the naval units based at the Ferrol arsenal.

This is a Defence-sector contract with a strong technical-electronic and onboard-security component, where the reliability of the CCTV systems is critical to the ships' operability. It is especially suited to companies specialising in the installation and maintenance of video surveillance systems, naval electronics, security integrators and CCTV equipment suppliers capable of working on naval platforms. For bidders, factors such as experience in maritime or military environments, the availability of qualified technical staff in the Ferrol area (Galicia, Northwest Spain) and a fast response to breakdowns make the difference against the competition.
