Renovation of "La Cuesta" Base in Tenerife: Floors, Roofs, Façades and Building Services for the Spanish Army (€169,352)

The Economic Affairs Headquarters of the Canary Islands Command is tendering the full renovation of the "La Cuesta" military base in Tenerife (file TC 507-03/24), with a base tender budget of €169,352.44. This works contract covers the rehabilitation of floors, roofs and façades, as well as the upgrade of building services for the 2nd machinery echelon BZAP XVI. It is a building rehabilitation project (CPV 45261000, covering roofing and structural works) combining civil works, waterproofing, envelope works and services improvement at an operational Spanish Army barracks in the Canary Islands.

These military infrastructure works are a regular part of the Spanish Ministry of Defence maintenance plan and require experience in building rehabilitation, roofing and façade works, along with the ability to operate inside a military compound with its access and security constraints. Given its value and scope, it is especially well suited to construction firms and full-refurbishment companies based around Tenerife and Santa Cruz, who minimise logistics and travel costs. The procedure is open, allowing SMEs from the construction and rehabilitation sector based in the Canary Islands to compete.
